How Is Drugstore Makeup Affecting High Quality Products
Practice y'all ever walk through fancy beauty halls and wonder who comes up with those eye-watering price tags? Well I do. So last week I decided to exercise a little experiment. I created two makeup looks, for the first I used only high street (aka drugstore) products. Every unmarried thing I applied to my face toll less than £fifteen - in fact, well-nigh of information technology cost less than a tenner. Next I recreated the same(ish) look, just this fourth dimension I used only high end makeup.

Verdict:
I loved how my pare looked subsequently using the Maybelline foundation, whilst information technology's staying power wasn't quite as skillful equally Dior's, information technology still delivered A* coverage and left my skin looking vivid and glowy. Also, it's worth noting that Dior's foundation is pricier considering the formula is packed with skincare ingredients that assistance shine out any texture and heave luminosity.

I know, I know, I need to become my eyebrows threaded. Badly. But try to ignore ALL the stray hairs (if you can), and just await at the color. I institute the Rimmel brow pencil slightly ashier than the It Cosmetics one - which is something to bear in mind if you share my fear of orangey eyebrows.

Verdict:
These two shades are oh-so similar. Both are suuuper-bright reds and both leave a creamy shine on the lips. I found the Givenchy lipstick a tad dewier than the Collection one, which meant it kept my lips moisturised for a piffling longer. Other than that though, there was virtually no deviation.
What I've learnt:
Surprising, huh? Now I won't lie, I'll probs however driblet an embarrassing corporeality of coin on makeup, I can't assist it. I have a problem. Plus, I call up information technology's worth remembering that brands like Tom Ford, Dior and By Terry invest a hell of a lot of money into their formulas and ingredients. So when it comes to something like foundation - that sits on your complexion all mean solar day - it might be worth splurging the extra pennies pounds if it's going to do good your pare in the long run. Overall though, it'south skilful to know that you don't haaave to part with a sh*t load of cash when you go makeup shopping. Think of it similar this, if you opt for expect A, there'll be £500 left in your wallet to spend at Zara... 💸💸💸
